Do you love to Sing, Dance and Act?
Are you aged 5-25 years old? Would you like to perform in your favourite shows in a professional theatre and learn from the professionals whilst developing your own performing skills in any or all of the above? You can join us if your dreaming of a performing career or just looking to find a new fun activity, we look for committed young people who just love to perform. Showdown Theatre Arts have three main branches which each meet once a week on various evenings (Click on your local school for more info on times and location). Any extra rehearsals or opportunities within term time will be included in each term's fees.
Weekly classes will involve rehearsing towards a current production and workshops with professional performers that will develop your technique in all three disciplines of the Performing Arts. Our shows are produced to the highest standard with a professional production team. You will learn all the skills you need to progress into the industry, including advice on auditions and furthering your education in this field as well as applying for drama school. If you are not yet thinking of a future career in the arts you can come and make great friends and build your skills at your own pace!
Showdown is focused on giving you the opportunity to become the performer you dream to be, if you are not sure that you wish to pursue a career in the performing arts there is still so much to gain from attending weekly classes including building your confidence, physical fitness, academic skills and most of all making great friends and enjoying yourself. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience our classes will suit you! For those of you who are ready to take the next step, we have Showdown Management, an entertainment agency where we can represent your child for professional work alongside their training and our international exchange programme, where each year we take our students to train at our partner school in the USA (Baltimore School for the Arts) We then host their students in return and work with them each Spring to produce a full show in just one week!
